 ColorMunki not found on Windows XP/Vista/Win 7
Solution Please do the following:

Navigate to the "Device Manager".

1. Click on the Windows icon in the lower left hand corner of your monitor (in older version of Windows this button was labeled "Start").

2. Click on "Control Panel"

3. Click on Hardware and sound, then click on Device manager. If you are in Classic view, double click on the "System" icon, then click on device manager

4. If the instrument driver is not properly installed, you will find the instrument somewhere in the list, with a yellow exclamation point over the icon

5. To correctly load the driver, Right click on the improperly installed device, left click on "Uninstall", and then select "OK" in the "Confirm Device Removal" window to remove the device.

6. Unplug the instrument USB cable, wait a moment, and then reconnect the USB cable to the PC 'Found new hardware' window will appear bottom right of your screen, click on this.

7. Select "Locate and install driver software"
 
8. Select "Install this driver software anyway" if you see the "Windows Security" window

The wizard will install the driver. When complete the instrument will appear without the yellow exclamation point in the device manager.

If the wizard cannot locate the driver then do the following:

* Unplug the ColorMunki device

* Download 'Colormunki Driver.zip' from our download web page:

http://shop.colourconfidence.com/page.php?xPage=updates.html

* Unzip and drop the file in the following location:

C:\Windows\System32\drivers

* Restart the Computer

* Plug ColorMunki device and follow step 1 - 8 again.
