Can you tell me the difference in practical terms between the Eizo CE240, CG241, CG211 and CG221?
Solution The CE240 is a business display with direct calibration software. Although this is a good monitor, the panel is not wide gamut, does not offer uniformity, and its overall visual quality, shadow detail etc. is not as good as the CG Range.

CG models are specifically designed as graphics panels. These models also feature direct calibration software, but are higher quality displays with superior shadow detail and uniformity. The CG241 offers a large colour gamut (near full Adobe RGB coverage) and a free monitor hood. The CG211 is a 21” standard format model with a similarly specification, but is smaller with a smaller colour gamut; however, its overall visual quality is considered superior. Users of the CG241 may also experience some contrast shift within the viewing angle (for example if viewing from the side instead of straight on) which is not an issue with the CG211.

The CG221 offer the viewing quality and features of the CG211 but in a larger display (22” wide-format) with a larger colour gamut, and is the best choice of the three if budget allows.
